Employees of SEQ retail water entities

LGsuper members who are transferring employment from a council to one of the new SEQ retail water entities are expected to retain their LGsuper membership. Representatives in the State Government have indicated that amendments to the Local Government Act will be made to ensure LGsuper membership will be continuous. Members of the Defined Benefits Fund are expected to remain in that fund and their service will be counted as continuous.
